I recently created a piece titled “The Gap”, inspired by the loss of the sycamore tree in Northumberland. This slightly larger than A4 piece was created by cutting hundreds of leaves and explores the space left behind after a loss. The hand-cut original was then vectorised and four A2-sized lightboxes were created, each with slight changes, showing the passing of time. These are available from Woolff Gallery, London

news & upcoming events
I’m excited to be exhibiting with The Art Studio, Surrey Hills during Surrey Artists Open Studios again in June and have a few other very exciting projects on the go, which I hope to be able to share with you soon!
I was thrilled to be selected to be a featured artist in a new coffee table book and virtual exhibition through the Arts to Hearts Project. The “Time and Memory Book” explores how these themes are expressed through the language of art. Click here for more information.
In workshop news, have teamed up with cyanotype artist, Camilla Leppard to create a new workshop combining beautiful pressed flowers and nature-inspired papercutting. In this relaxing 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn how to craft intricate paper designs and use the cyanotype process to create a stunning cyanotype print. For more information, please visit the workshop tab.
Finally, I recently created a piece called “Daisy Tears” to raise awareness and vital funds for snare removal, which is devastating our wildlife. This piece explores the juxtaposition between conservation and destruction by using similar imagery and symbolic flowers.
I was thrilled to work with the brilliant paper artist, Nathan Ward, on the lightbox centrepiece for this year’s Waddesdon Manor’s Christmas celebrations. Designing a 9-layer lightbox with a Peter Pan theme, incorporating the Manor house was so much fun! The design was then enlarged and cut into a massive 1.8m lightbox and will be glowing inside the house at their Christmas celebrations until 1st January 2024
